Even though the nightlife is limited, there are relatively few people around most of the time, not to mention that few entertainment venues can be found nearby. East Sacramento is quiet overall, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - however some areas can be quite noisy, especially closer to one of the railway lines. There are a few public green spaces close by for residents to enjoy, such as McKinley Park, making it easy to access them.
